Called Doc Able's this afternoon because I'd heard good things. Pete answered. Explained to him that I'd recently been to an oil change place that had given me a checklist of maintenance items that if I could make an appointment to bring my car in, I'd like Doc's to see if they agreed and what their quote would be. Pete replied "just how would I know what needed to be done if I didn't look at your car, first?" Well, I didn't say they couldn't look at my car. In fact, I told Pete I wanted to bring it in. But maybe I wasn't clear, so I said "oh no, that's fine. I'm expecting that you'd look at the car". Then another line rang. Pete asked if I could hold. I said "sure." Apparently, he didn't understand me though, because he replied "Can...You...HOLD...Please" like he was talking to an idiot. He was obviously annoyed with my call and not hiding it, at all. I said "sure" again, but then thought better of it and told him to just never mind. If this is how they treat someone who's reaching out to them for the first time (or any time) I'm not giving them any business. It costs nothing to be kind and Pete didn't even try.

Today is unfortunately the last day I attempt to give business to Doc Able's. I've historically had pretty good service, with a few less than stellar interactions along the way. But today is when I say farewell. Apparently, when Sara gives you verbal acknowledgement that you can drop off your car on a specific day to have it looked at, you should not believe her. But also, when you drop your car off before the place opens - as Pete suggested, since they are "first come, first serve" - that still does not guarantee your car will be looked at because that is the situation I was put in the last time I dropped my car off. I am usually able to get pretty good service when Pete is involved - I've learned Sara works hard to get stuff done, but is definitely not customer service focused. Unfortunately, Pete hung up on me today when I tried to figure out a resolution. I guess one less customer will help them, since they are so busy, they cannot help out a long-time customer who arranged in advance for today to be service day.

Honestly, at first glance I thought they were going to overcharge me, but Iβm very appreciative of the time they took to work on my fiancΓ©eβs car. They kept me updated throughout the process and had a detailed printout ready when I came to pick it up. I truly appreciate the quality of their work and the follow-up. In the end, I felt good about the money I spent.

Rude and dismissive. As a longtime customer, I wonβt be going back. I had 3 scratched windows needing replacement after a storm. Got an estimate from them and waited a couple months to save up for the work. Called to schedule service, but the man insisted my estimate was more than a year old and would cost more now. This was factually incorrect. The woman sent me ann updated estimate (almost identical to the original). I scheduled the service because I like working with the woman. Went to pick up car and noticed a crack in the carβs trim on driverβs side where the new windshieldβs upper corner sits. I would have noticed this before the work. Pointed this out to the man. His response was immediate defensiveness and dismissal. Mocking tone. No room to discuss anything with him. I felt intimidated by his insistence that the crack was already there. He showed me a grainy video of my car entering the service bay and pointed to the spot in question, but when there was no way to reasonably prove the crack was already there, he left the room. I followed him to my car. Showed him the crack. βWhat do you want me to do?β βYou want a full refund or something!?β It was clear that he wasn

New customer now! Doc Ables was *able* to squeeze me in super last minute before close on a busy Friday to patch up my tire after I discovered a not so slow leak from a nail in my tire. Very grateful for their kindness and understanding ahead of a busy personal weekend!
